Camp Sequoyah — the “Land of 1000 Dreams” — sits on the Greater Alabama Council’s 1,447-acre property in Cleburne County, with an 86-acre lake for swimming, boating, and fishing, plus a trading post, dining hall, shooting range, climbing tower, ecology lodge, chapel, council ring, and miles of hiking through old-growth forest dotted with trillium, oak leaf hydrangea, and buckeye.
