Personal Fitness Merit Badge (Part 2)

For the Scouts who started work for their Personal Fitness merit badge on April 13, the follow-up meeting will occur at the Hut on Saturday, July 20, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Please do not be late – we will start promptly at 8:00 am.

Before that date, all Scouts working on this merit badge should have finished their entire 12 week exercise program.

Scouts should bring the following on July 20:

  1. their merit badge blue card
  2. their completed 12 week exercise log
  3. their completed 3 day nutrition log
  4. the paper showing their baseline exercise results from April 13
  5. a full water bottle.

Scouts also should be prepared to complete any remaining discussion requirements (see blue card to review which ones were not signed off during the first April 13 meeting).

As with the first meeting, Mr. Carey will need multiple adults to help during the July 20 meeting. If all goes well, all the participating Scouts will finish their merit badge that day.
