AoL Day Trip – FDR State Park

Wait a minute! I thought we were headed to Lake Alatoona for the weekend?

Well, as many of you have already heard, we were notified very last minute that an “unscheduled booking” bumped us out. Troop Leadership has been working hard to find a quick alternative, and our annual event with the Arrow of Light (AoL) Scouts is now a day trip to F.D. Roosevelt State Park on Saturday, October 25.

We have reserved picnic shelter #2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for a day of hiking, cooking, and fun. Please note that a state park pass or a day pass for parking is required. More details and a final schedule will be shared soon, but those interested should sign-up using the link below.

For preparation, the AoLs can visit the weekly Troop meeting on Tuesday, October 21 @ 7:30pm. During the meeting, the Scouts will help the AoLs prepare for the hike and complete some of the Bobcat & Outdoor Adventure requirements.
