Please join us at the Allatoona Aquatics Base on October 24 – 26 to introduce AoLs to camping with Troop 129. This trip is an opportunity for the AoLs to meet our Scouts, learn new skills, complete some requirements, and mostly have fun in the woods.
The Allatoona Aquatics Base is great camping area that’s close to home but feels remote. The campsites are spread within trees along a peninsula into Lake Allatoona. There are bathroom facilities (modern composting toilets), potable water, a fire ring, and a small picnic shelter at our campsite.
In accordance with Youth Protection, AoLs will need to tent together and not with Scouts. All adults will be separate (per usual). The Troop will handle the program and food.
Anyone interested should use the sign-up sheet linked below. We do not have a firm deadline for sign-up at this time, but we are asking it to be completed as soon as possible.
